can i buy colored lenses online that prescriptioned not from my eye doctor though?
here is my prescription:
power- -6.00, -4.50
cyl- -1.25, -1.75
dia- 14.5, 14.5
bc- 8.6, 8.6
axis 170, 010
i also have astigmatism. i just want to buy these contacts to use temporarily and occasionally. im not going to wear them everyday. so it is okay if i dont see as perfect as i should.
and please do not tell me to go to an eye doctor.

I just started wearing contacts, and my doctor’s office is charging me $75.00 per box because I have astigmatism and I have to buy two at a time. Is it possible to just tell them that I would rather buy them online? How does that work–do they give me my perscription and I find a good site?

hello, i have my contact prescription on the box and i wanted to order some glasses online with the same prescription as my contacts. I also have astigmatism. on the box reads:
BC 8.9
PWR -0.25
CYL -1.00
DIA 14.5
Axis 090
the online site asks for :
OD-SPH, OD-CYL, OD-AXIS, OD-ADD and also for the OS of each. both my eyes are the same and i needed help with filling them in. THANKS

Would It Be Cheaper To Buy Contact Lenses Online Or At Dr. Visionworks?

I need to get an eye exam for contacts, and the cost at Dr Visionworks is $78-108 depending on how bad my astigmatism is.. i think my eyes are around -2 on each…so how much do you think I’ll be paying for?
anywho, after the eye exam they’ll give me a prescription.. how much of a price difference is there from buying contacts from the store or online?

I Want To Order Eyeglasses Online Using My Contact Prescription, Help?

I need to order a cheap pair of eyeglasses online and when I need to fill in my prescription, one of the options confuses me, and i DO NOT want to get this wrong.

When i fill in my info from my contact lens I get….

What I don’t understand is what OD-ADD is, I don’t see anything else on my contact lens that can be used to fill it in. Also, my left eye contact lens (non astigmatism) doesn’t have the CYL or AXIS numbers. Are these for astigmatisms only?

I have looked everywhere. I know about the common colors, but is there a way to look at more so I know what I may want…I heard that there are kinds that look like cats and stuff, but I can’t get a good look at them on the websites I pulled up btw I do have astigmatism do they have colored ones to help with that? I have never had contacts and I don’t know what I am looking for.
