Will My Eyes Adjust To Glasses With Only Small Periods Of Wear?

I just got my first pair of glasses in 7 or so years and my first pair of glasses with a lens for astigmatism (yes, one – I only have it in one eye).
I put them on and the world is a bit warped. I found that this is due to the astigmatism. When I do wear them, I feel dizzy and my eyed feel a bit strained, although I can see better than I do with contacts in.
What I’m wondering is if this strain will get better with time even though these glasses aren’t full-time for me. I put them on after my shower and I’m usually up for five or six hours following that shower.
Last question is when I do adjust to my glasses, will my contacts be fine still, or will I have to pick one and stick with it? Although I like the clarity of the glasses, I’m a photographer and I really don’t want that lens getting in my way when I’m taking photos.

Does Acuvue Brand Contacts Only Have Soft Lenses?

I have astigmatism and when I tried contacts I had to have the hard lenses and I didn’t like it so I want to try contacts again but with the soft lenses

I am 21 years. -2.25 left eye and -4.75 right eye (astigmatism in both eyes too, about -1.00). Perfectly health.
My friend told me he often forget he is wearing contact lense. That is just very surprising to me because my eyes feel irritated everytime i wear them. Anyone know what brand of contact lenses suit me the best?I heard contact for astigmatism is usually pretty irritating to eyes. Is that true?

Not quite sure what you are asking.
Freshlook Colorblends Torics are the only color lenses for astigmatism, and they only come in 4 colors, and not many prescriptions.

I was in a hurry one day and I had to run, and I had my left contact in my eye but was having problems putting my right one on. So I passed the day with only one lens on. During that day, I felt my eye was starting to force too much to see from far. I have -0.75 on my right eye, and -1.25 on the other. I suffer from Astigmatism. Since that day, I start to realize that I don’t see as clearly with my right eye (when the contact is on it). Did my vision get better or worse?
