One Of My Eyes Seems To Drift’. It’s Not Lazy Eye, I Had It Checked By An Optometrist. What Could Cause This?

To clarify, I got worried I had lazy eye a few months ago because I saw a picture of myself where my right eye seemed slightly off from the other eye. Everyone has told me they’ve never noticed it when I talk in an everyday situation, except for one person who said she had noticed it once. After seeing the optometrist, I was told I do NOT have lazy eye because lazy eye is where one eye is undeveloped (which is not something I have). However, I was told I had a minor case of astigmatism, where my eyes are shaped slightly like footballs. All in all, I didn’t get glasses but I was able to pass my G1 driver’s eye exam without a problem so I think my eyes are ok in that regard. I don’t understand what could cause this. Could my eyes be tired (I spend a lot of time either reading because of homework or on the computer) or is it something else?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Optometrist Said I Got A Small Astigmatism, But Its Low Enough That I Can Use Regular Contacts, Is This True?

My old prescription used to be:
LEFT – Bausch & Lomb SofLens Toric:
BC: 8.5
SPH: -4.00
CYL: -1.25
AX: 180
RIGHT – Acuvue 2:
BC: 8.3
DIA: 14.0
D: -4.50
i just got an eye exam yesterday and my new prescription is this:
LEFT:
Spherical: -4.00
Cylindrical: -1.50
Axis: 010
Right:
Spherical: -4.00
Cylindrical: -0.50
Axis: 160
Is this kind of change possible? He said that it went down/got better.. but also that before i didnt have an astigmatism in my right eye, but now i do? he also said that my right eye’s astigmatism is really low, so if i wanted i could continue using the same type of contacts (just w/ a lower prescription) since it took me a while to find the right contacts that didnt irritate my eye?
thanks
Optometrist Said My Myopia And Astigmatism Improved Due To My Brain Being More Developed?

My left eye’s myopia and astigmatism improved compared to years ago (the last time they were examined). My right eye also improved, but not as much. Overall, both eyes are now more balanced. My optometrist said I must have had extensive developments in my right brain in the last few years. Apparently, he said the left eye’s vision is connected to the right brain, and vice versa. What do you know about this? Is it possible?
How Severe Is My Astigmatism? The Optometrist Said My Left Eye Was 50 And My Right Eye Was 75.?

80% of people have some sort of astigmatism. Astigmatism is just the shape of your eye. Instead of it being completely round its some what of a football shape. As long as it can be corrected with glasses everything is fine.

I had an eye exam today – all I know is that my new contact prescription for my left eye is -7.00, and for the right it’s -6.50. The doctor said because of a previous retinal macular hemorrhage I can’t achieve 20/20 vision even with correction. I also have slight astigmatism.
Does anyone somehow magically know the answer here?
