I just had my eye exam almost exactly a week ago, and my optometrist recommended me rgp contact lenses for crisper vision, as I have bad astigmatism. I know the diameter of rgp contact is smaller than a soft contact, thus, will it be easier to… fall out of my eye in a sense?
I’m going to be playing tennis with them, and I can’t afford to lose a contact lens by it coming out of my eye.
Also, how long does it take generally to custom make rgp contact lenses? I have yet to get a call from my optometrist.

Does Astigmatism Have Some Role To Play In Your Actual Prescription?

I have mild astigmatism. My left eye power is -4.25 and right power is -4.00. Had I not had astigmatism would the prescription have been any worse than that?
