Confused About What Type Of Contacts To Get [points To Best Answer]?

I have really bad short-sightedness (myopia) and quite bad astigmatism. I think I have to get toric lenses (that is what the optician said) because of the astigmatism but will any type work for the astigmatism AND the myopia or will they only work for the astigmatism.
I doubt I’ll get any answers so thanks if you help!

Contact Lens Help..easy 10 Points!?

First off, I just want to say that any information of any of the stores I listed i appreciated. Here are my questions: Are the contact lens checkups in walmart good and accurate? What about JCPenny, Target, Sears, Sam’s club, Costco or any other optical places? How much does the checkup and followup checkup cost before insurance? About how much would it cost in total for everything (contacts for 6 months(one eye with astigmatism, the oth without), checkup, follow up checkup, etc.) at any of these stores if I buy contact from one of these stores? Has anyone fond a good deal for a checkup and contacts? Remember, any inforation of any of these stores if appreciated….and whoever has the best and most info gets 10 points!

Can I Still Wear Contacts Even Though I Have Astigmatism? 10 Points!!!!?

My first contact apointment i had, i ended up leaving. The lady wasnt very professional ad she YELLED at me evrytime i couldnt get the contact in!! So i left. Then the next time I just had a regular eye doctor appointment, and they told me i had astigmatism, but the first lady didnt. Now i have another contact appoinment, (which i really want to succeeed in!!) and i dont know if i need special contacts or what? Also do you think I couldnt get the contact in my eye the first time because i needed special contacts? THANKS!!! 10 POINTS!!!

I just got contacts, and i have astigmatism. What contacts should i use? The lady gave me vertex toric. But she also said there were baue shalom toric and thats what my mom uses, (but not toric) And theres also acuvue oaysis toric, acuvue toric, and acuvue advanced toric. And any other toric contact lenses that you like. Which should i use?? And it dosent matter if you dont use toric.
Also whats the difference between acuvue, acuvue oaysis, and acuvue advanced?
