Is It Possible For Me To Wear Contacts?

ive been wearing glasses ever since i was 7 and i want to get contacts now (im 15)
BUT my right eye has extra eye tissue. idk if contacts would make it worse or if i jsut cant wear contacts with that or if it wouldnt matter.
any help appreaciated
oh and btw about how much are contacts? i have astigmatism and i heard contacts for astigmatism are a little more pricey

so here the thing,i went and got my eyes examined this year knowing that i can finally get contacts because i am very active and play alot of sports and glasses seem to get in the way alot. when i got my prescription my doctor said it was quite strong plus i have a astigmatism. So now i am being told my only option is non disposable contacts,why is this? which will still be hard for them to get with my prescription. i would like to know a approx price that they will be cause if i only have one pair of contacts im sure i would be quite expensive if i ended up loseing them. all answers are apreciated. thnx

Is It Possible That The Eye Doctor Did Not Find The Correct Contact Prescription?

I recently had my vision updated and got a new pair of glasses and trying out some contacts for that first time. The glasses are great but the contacts not so much. I have astigmatism in both eyes so i know my prescription is pretty tricky, but I was just wondering if it’s possible that the eye doctor did not find the correct prescription for me. I am going in for a follow up and hoping that he can just make some adjustments to my prescription but until them I appreciate any input and thank you very much in advance.
Also, if anyone is an optometrist or has experience with this, with the contact lenses my vision is relatively good in some spots, but there is a constant blurriness around objects. I don’t get the crispness I think I should be getting out of corrective lenses.

Is It Possible To Have Astigmatism Last Month And Not Have It Now?

i had my glasses made last month, so the optalmologist(is that what they call it?) tested my eyes. it showed i have astigmatism in both eyes. then i had another pair of glasses made just now on a different eye center. the optalmologist working there tested my eyes and it showed i don’t have astigmatism now. is it possible? i’m quite skeptical about it. because i’ve had had astigmatism for 2 years and the first optalmologist told me that my eyes are unlikely to go back to the normal vision. i kept telling her about my astigmatism but she insists that the first optalmologist is wrong. she’s annoying. the optalmologist who tested me last year told me though that i have astigmatism in the right eye. is it okay to wear glasses w/ different grades simultaneously? i still want to wear the glasses i bought last month. is it okay? or will it destroy my eyes? can astigmatism get worse if i wear glasses without grades for astigmatism(in case i really do have astigmatism)?
