Is Something Wrong With My Contacts?

i just got contacts and today was my first day wearing them so idk the effects yet… now i can acually see distance but everytime something is close up it gets fuzzy, and computer text is kinda hard to see…. is this normal? also i have astigmatism ( only slight) but regular contacts.

i put my toric lense in my left eye when my right eye is the one that has an astigmatism and my left eye doesnt have one and that contact was in my right eye the whole day is that bad?

Contacts Become Blurry When I See Something Up Close?

Whenever I see something up close it becomes blurry but when its far away I see perfectly fine. I already tired 3 different brands and they still do the same thing. I have a astigmatism and I’m 15 and I have a pretty high prescription it’s like -7.50. Is it the brand or what? This is the first time I wear contacts and I’ve worn glasses for about 9 years. Please help!

Why Is My Daughter Able To See Part Of Her Contact Lens When She Looks At Something? 1st Time User… Help

Sorry, if I’m repeating myself. Thanks for the answers to my 1st question.
As my daughter is wearing her contact lens (she has astigmatism – like I do) she says that she can see a part of the contact lens when she views something. This isn’t right??? Is it? She mentioned it to the woman who was fitting her, but she dismissed it and said that my daughter 13 had to get used to it. Doesn’t sound right.
Also, when I went for my contacts. I had an opthamoligt (Dr.) look at my eyes and he wrote out a rx for glasses. He said that he doesn’t “fit” for contacts or rx for contacts. We’re in a large eye dr office where they do everything from surgery to the basics. Anyway, the woman never looked AT my eys before having me try on contacts. She looked at the RX for glasses and said because it listed the “axis” ? she was able to provide me with 2 trial pairs… I don’t think my eyes are corrected 20/20 with the contacts either. And this place is supposed to be extremely reputable. What am I doing wrong, and is it normal for my daughter to see her contact lens in her eye?

I Have A Severe Astigmatism. Should I Take A “eye” Supplement Or Something To Keep It From Getting Any Worse?

I am pretty nearsighted too! I ordered some pinhole glasses to try. I don’t have enough cornea for Laser surgery and I don’t want to be blind by the time I’m 40! Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is There Something You Can Do About Having Astigmatism In One Eye?

I have astigmatism in one eye and the doctor won’t do anything for me. I can hardly see out of that eye because everything is blurry. My previous eye doctor once gave me contacts for astigmatism. My new eye doctor says I only have it in one eye (although my previous doctor said both eyes) and he can’t do anything about it. The past year has been horrible for me because I can’t see very well out of that eye. I’ve posted many questions the past few days about my eye problems (all of which started when I began going to him). I’m tired of not being able to see clearly. Anyone know what can be done? Why won’t he fix my vision problem?
