Approximately…how Much Would Lasik Eye Surgery Cost For Me?

I am seventeen and have terrible vision with a very rare astigmatism. I live in northern Texas so I’m not positive what the price would be.
The cost of my contacts and glasses are really a hassle because my astigmatism is so rare. My contacts actually run around $300.00 every three months!
So if anyone could inform me AT ALL. I would greatly appreciate it!

I am seventeen, and just started wearing glasses 24/7 in april. i have astigmatism, and a lazy eye so one eye is a different perscription, but my eyesight isnt the worst without glasses, its bad, but there is alot worse. My type of problem is that i cant see far away..
anyway i hate my glasses. they are uncomfortabe and interfere with my year round athletics and i just dont think glasses suit me. i try to wear contacts but they bug me.
Am i too young? Can i get it? are there bad things what can happwn with lazer surgery?
***I dont need 20/20 vision..i dont care if i even need glasses for little things, its just that i dont like having the hasssle of them.

i want to get lasik really bad. i am going in for checkup to see if i can next week. but i was wondering, if i get it, can i wear colored contacts. like right now i cant because i have a nearsighted astigmatism in both eyes.

so i went to the eye doctor for contact lenses. I have a astigmatism in my left eye and my right eye is fine. So i got the tiral contact Lens and the vision was better but still blurry. I went back to the doctor and asked if the vision could be better. He gave me a new contact and was again better but still blurry

I Hate Wearing My Glasses, Can’t Wear Contacts, Can’t Get Surgery. Any Suggestions?

I’m 13, and have incredibly severe astigmatism. Due to technology, my glasses aren’t that thick, but I don’t think my face was made for glasses. I look positively terrible with my glasses, and hate to wear them. I have contacts, but they hurt unbelievably bad, because my prescription is bad and they are thick, so they are extremely uncomfortable. I can’t see wiith them either. My parents will not let me get surgery, because of the chance of blindness. I can see without my glasses, but it requires focusing my eyes which makes me go cross-eyed and if I do it for too long it hurts. Also, I can’t read this way.
Any suggestions? I’ve tried to just wear my glasses when I read, but it’s easier just to wear them all the time. And don’t tell me to get different glasses, that’s not an option.

Corrective Surgery?

Im 18 i am about -7.00 in both eyes im not near or far sighted just a terrible amount of astigmatism…my doctor said that soft contacts would not give me good enough vision so im either stuck with glasses of hard contact lenses..is there a surgery to fix my problem and at what age can it be done..thanks

Can I Get Laser Eye Surgery?

I have a muscle disease that effects all of my skeletal muscles including the muscles in my eyes. I don’t have nearly the eye movement as others, and my eye lid droops down about 1/2 down my eye. I’m 19 years old, and I my vision has changed very little over the past 2 years. I wear glasses, and have can wear contacts, but they are hard to get in, and they don’t work as well as the glasses. I have a astigmatism in my left eye too. Can I still get the surgery do you think?
