Nearsighted (my Eyes)..i Think I Also Have Astigmatism As Well?

so I am nearsighted..I can see things far as well..but blurry (readable blurry) and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to help my eyes get better, meaning like to keep my eye vision healthy without wearing glasses to much, I know as people age the eye vision will get worse…so any advice?

Do You Think It’s Because I Wore My Contacts Too Long?

I was supposed to throw my contacts out and open a new pair on the 13th.
My eye doctor gave me the wrong package though.
He didn’t give me the astigmatism lenses, and I’ve been wearing these way past the day I should have, and now I think I have a sty in my left eye.
Should I go to eye doctor or just use over-the-counter treatment?

The Opt.(Dr.) said I’d get used to them. He said that people dont wear contacts because they give great vision, they wear them so that they dont have to wear glasses. What do think?

I Think I Have An Astigmatism But The Optician Says My Eyes Are Fine…?

Basically, my eyes just don’t seem as good as they used to so I did an online eye test (I know your not supposed to but you know). Anyway, I did this test http://www.perret-optic.ch/optometrie/te… and it says I have a astigmatism. I say two out of 4 of the bottom squares as grey and the lines are different shades of grey.
I went to the Optician’s a few weeks ago (after doing this test) and they gave me a full eye exam including what I think was an astigmatism test (5/6 red dots in a circle) and asked me if they were all the same shade of red. I said they were and she said that meant I didn’t have an astigmatism…but how come the online test says I do?

I Think I’m Cursed! Does Anyone Else Have Such Issues With Their Eyes As I Do?

I am basically blind without glasses or contact lenses, being the possessor of eyes with severe myopia, my eyes are also fairly dry, have a very steep base curve that makes it difficult for me to find suitable contact lenses, and i have moderate astigmatism to top it all off! Crazy! Lol. Does anyone else have such bad luck with their eyes, or is it just me?
