Is It Normal That My 20/20 Vision Fluctuate To 20/25 5 Days Post Op Lasik Treatment?

I had LASIK treatment last week due to my high astigmatism (500/500). My first post-op check up ( 3 days post-op) findings was that I gained 20/20 vision. The second post-op ( 1 week) findings became 20/25. Also, the degree of astigmatism went from 100/100 to 200/200 coming from those post-op check ups. Is this normal? Will it get worse or go back to a normal 20/20?

Hi guyz,
Just wanna know about the Natural treatments available for Correcting or Improving vision.I have a slight Astigmatism of less than 1 in both eyes. I am planning to have a career in Armed forces(may be flying). So i want to know about any Natural or Alternative treatment available for Rectifying this condition. I dont want to go for Surgical procedure like LASIK or PRK.Lasik and PRK are not a strict taboo in forces and they can be easiy detectable thru a test. I have heard about Bates method and Exercises, but dont know how much effective they are in correcting Astigmatism. Please advice.

Yes, Toric lenses were developed specifically for people with astigmatism. I use them myself.
And yes, laser correction treatment can be used for people with this condition.

Best Treatment For Astigmatism In Adult Years?

I’m a 19 year old girl, who had a car accident in July ‘07 & have been having some vision problems since then. (I hit my head & lost conciousness for a few minutes)
I’ve just been on a visit with an eye doctor who told me I have an astigmatism in my left eye & have to wear glasses at all times. He said it’s probably been there since birth & won’t get better unless I have it fixed with laser surgery in about 2 years, but that will cost me $5000, (money which I’ll don’t have!)
I haven’t had any eye tests since I was little & they didn’t see anything wrong with my sight then, so does that mean that this astigmatism was caused by my accident and not from birth?
Other questions:Can it be cured any other means other than costly surgery or glasses? What if I put an eye patch over my better eye to strengthen my weak one & do some eye exercises?
I hate the fact that I have 1 football shaped eye and 1 soccerball shaped eye! Its especially noticable in photos & I hate it so much!
