Why Do I See A Beam Of Light When Looking At Lights?

At night when im out i can see like beams of light coming off streets lights and normal inside lights to. I can also see it coming off the telly sometimes too. Is this normal or should i be worried?
also theres nothing wrong with my eyes as i know of, yes i do have and astigmatism and i wear contacts and glasses and notice the beam when im wearing either.

Eye Hurts When I Blink…?

About 5 hours ago I tried to put in my contact. When I did It started to burn I figured out that I accidentally switched my solution with the soap. So it burned. After a while it was ok. Now its a little red in one spot && it hurts bad when I blink. Did I scratch my eye with the contact or what? I have astigmatism in the right eye && thats the one that has soap in it.

Does Anyone Have Double Vision At Night When Wearing Acuvue For Astigmatism?

When night driving I see double road signs…and its hard to read them. I never had this problem with my gas permiable lenses or with glasses. I’ve had these contacts for about a month.

Cross Eyed When Use Of Drugs?

I have an astigmatism which I correct with contact lenses. When im not wearing contacts my right eye turns in slightly. So one eye will be straight and the other looking a little to the left. When im wearing contacts my eyes look and feel normal.
I am not a frequent user of drugs. Although, the times that I use ecstasy, my eye will turn completely in while it feels like im looking straight.
Also this happens when I use the prescription drug oxycontin. Except with oxycontin, my eye will turn outward. If i take my contacts out, both of my eyes will be looking straight.
I am wondering if anyone else has had this problem? And if there’s anything that I can do to correct it (besides the obvious of not taking the drugs)? I really don’t want to be looking like a freak.

Do Eyeglasses Mess Up Your Peripheral Vision? Do You Use Your Peripheral Vision Much When You Drive?

I’ve been wearing contacts for most of my life. But now I have an astigmatism and the lenses to correct it sometimes shift, causing blurry vision. I’m afraid this will happen while I’m driving. Laser surgery is too expensive right now, so I’m thinking of getting eyeglasses to use while driving. My concern is that the glasses will interfere with my peripheral vision. Not a problem most of the time, but will it affect my driving?

What Does It Mean If My Contact Lenses Don’t Move Anymore When I Blink?

I’ve had them scince wednesday and they’ve been working fine but I think I noticed it today or like the last time I wore them(which was the day before yesterday because I went on a rafting trip on saturday which we would be throwing water so I couldn’t wear them) that at least one wasn’t moving at all when I blinked I would put some of the contact solution in my eyes like drops for moisture they would move normally at first but when back to normal dryness they would stop. Other than this my contacts have worked normally I just need to get a slight change in my left eye perscription because of my astigmatism and I barely even notice them any more. Today I took a nap of about an hour with them on and when I woke up they were just like they were this morning so yeah. I just want to know what it means if they are like this and if I need to change anything or if its something to worry about.

When Im Playing Video Games Ex. Cod 4 Or Gta 4 When I Turn The Camera The Image Is Kinda Blurred.?

it also happens in movies like when the pan the camera over sentences I cant read it because its blurred.
I am nearsighted and have astigmatism in one eye, my left one.

I Am Nearsighted But When I Wake Up In The Morning My Vision Is Crystal Clear?

I have noticed that sometimes when I wake up I can see nearly perfectly fine. Normally I cannot even tell there are words on some posters in my room, but some days as soon as I wake up for about an hour I can read them!
Normally I wear glasses for driving , but do not need them all the time . I have near sightedness in both of my eyes, and astigmatism in my left .
Is this normalll??

Why Is It That When I Put My Contact Lense In Now It Scratches My Eye?

I hope that someone can help me. I have been wearing toric contact lenses for 15 years. Last week my right lense was scratching my eye and when I took it out it ripped on the edge. I thought this was a bit weird……..today I got my new lense and when I went to put it in it was scratching my eye. I am freaking out because my eye doctor told me that as my astigmatism gets worse I will not be ab le to wear contacts anymore. Now I am worried that this is what has happened. I am going to see him so he can check my eye but wanted to know if this is true?? Can astigmatism get so bad that you cannot wear contact lenses anymore? The person where I buy my lenses told me the same thing. I cannot even imagine wearing glasses for the rest of my life. With all the technology out there how can this be possible? I guess I am looking for someone to give me some hope.
