All Members In Family’s Eyes Worse After Eye Exams…it’s Been Many Months. Is This Possible?

We had exams and photos of eyes taken (the blue light) which included an eye solution that blurred vision for rest of the afternoon for one of us (too much)? Astigmatism in two of us… Eyesight more blurry ever since for all of us.

Why Did My Contacts Get Worse After A Couple Of Days?

I just got contact lenses and the first day I wore them they were really good and I didn’t have any major problem with them except a little dryness here and there, but after a couple of days it didn’t feel right and today they were constantly dry and I had to put eye drops in every 30 minutes or so.
I have astigmatism and have been wearing glasses constantly since I was in grade 6 and I am now going into 3rd year of university. I am wondering if this just may be my eyes adjusting. Also I ran out of the cleaning solution given to me by my optometrist and bought a different king but switched back when it didn’t feel right so this is my 2nd day on the original proscription. Could this also be a problem?
I would really appreciate an answer since my optometrist is a hopeless idiot and if I go back to him one more time to change the prescription and they may charge me and I don’t feel like paying for his mistakes

If You Have Astigmatism And You Don’t Wear Your Glasses, Do Your Eyes Get Worse?

They may get worse…but not because you didn’t wear the glasses.
Glasses don’t make your eyes better or worse, they only help you see better when you have them on.

Does Wearing Glasses At A Young Age Make Your Eye Sight Worse?

My 8 year old daughter had an eye exam and was told she needs glasses. (astigmatism in right eye vision was 20/40? i think. left eye was 20/20 no astigmatism) She has never complained about not seeing or anything like that. I have been told by other people that wear glasses since they were children that wearing the glasses will make her get a stronger prescription every year. So by the time she is an adult she will be on a very strong prescription.

Will My Nearsightedness(and Astigmatism) Get Worse If I Dont Wear Glasses?

im 24 and have nearsightedness and my left eye is astigmatic. i can manage without glasses but will my sight get worse if i dont wear glasses?

Will My Irregular Astigmatism Get Worse As I Get Older?

I have been told I have an irregular astigmatism which I presume is caused from a corneal scar from an eye injury 4 years ago.
It is not causing me any problems as my glasses have been adjusted for it – but will this get worse as I get older or stay the same?
I am hoping that because it is the result of an injury and not a genetic astigmatism it will just stay the same and not cause any future problems?

Are My Eyes Getting Worse Or Is It The Astigmatism?

I’ve had contacts for many years now, I use to have contacts for astigmatism but about a year ago my doctor changed me to regular contacts and said the astigmatism was slight.
Now my contacts are getting really bad lately, like things far away are blurry and people faces from about 15 ft are pretty blurry.
I think it just became like this because I didn’t notice before
Are my eyes getting worse or is it the astigmatism?
