My 4 Year Old And Astigmatism?

My son took many eye exams. His last one showed 20/20 vision. At a children’s eye specilist. Although, he has bad astigmatism. Because of this he was prescribed glasses, -2.50 and -2.25. He was told to where them as often as possible. Why is this?

1 Year Supply Of Contact Lens For About 100 Dollars?

My cousin said he got a good deal for contacts lense…he got a year supply of contacts for only 100 something. He doesn’t remember where he got them.
I recently got an eye exam and a prescription for contact lense. The brand I’m looking for is Air Optix Toric. It’s for Astigmatism so it cost alot more. Everywhere I go, its about $65 a box w/6 contacts . Thats way too much. Does anyone know where I can go to find a cheaper price or get the same deal my cousin did?

My daughter wants contacts, mostly for her fitness class. I remember when I was her age, my glasses did get in the way when perspiring but are children responsible enough for contacts. She is near sighted (can’t see far away) and has astigmatism.

and it is debated why some people gain astigmatism and some dont. strange pheomenon that in the absence of disease (keratoconus, etc) will likely go unsolved in your case. some think its a precursor to myopia progression

I had 20/20 vision when I was yonger, but recently noted a hard time reading small print far away. I went the the eye doctor, and they say I have astigmatism in both eyes, worse in my right. All I have read indicates that you are born with this, and it may get worse with age. Is this normal for a 32 year old?

Is There A Link Between Kidney Problems And Developing Astigmatism In 4 Year Old?

My 4 year old daughter passed 2 eye exams in previous year and then failed her 4 year screening and went to the eye doc the next day.
He measured her eyes with a machine and said that she has astigmatism on her eyes.
She has kidney damage to her “good” kidney and a duplex kidney on the other side.
Is there a link between kidney problems and developing astigmatism in 4 year old?
