he says he’s been here and there for eye exams for special contacts for this but gets the run around after they find out he doesn’t have no insurance what could be done for him to pass this test also he has to have a eye doctor sign the eye exam sheet.he says he tried to get financial assistance as well.he needs to see through the vision test.

Does Wearing Glasses At A Young Age Make Your Eye Sight Worse?

My 8 year old daughter had an eye exam and was told she needs glasses. (astigmatism in right eye vision was 20/40? i think. left eye was 20/20 no astigmatism) She has never complained about not seeing or anything like that. I have been told by other people that wear glasses since they were children that wearing the glasses will make her get a stronger prescription every year. So by the time she is an adult she will be on a very strong prescription.

I’m Young, And I Have Severe Astigmatism. Could This Be A Bad Sign For The Future?

I’m only 15, and I have severe astigmatism. It’s getting worse and worse every year, and my parents and doctors are getting worried. My prescription for my left eye is -4.50, -1.25, x180. My right eye is much worse.
My question is, should I worry? My dad has bad astigmatism too, so it must be a gene thing… but still, I have worse astigmatism as him. Is it possible for my astigmatism to get so bad that I become legally blind in the future? Is there anything I can do to slow down the astigmatism? I’m worrying a lot, someone please answer!

he says he’s been here and there to get special contacts but gets the run around because he has non insurance for medical e.t.c. but needs to get a driver’s license and the only thing stopping him is he can’t see the numbers that’s in the vision test, due to his eyes. what does he have to do.
