To What Extent Can They Fix Your Eye Sight With Lasick Surgery

I have pretty bad vision with a slight astigmatism , and I would like to bring that up to perfect is this possible. I don’t know my sight but i do know my contact prescription is -5.75 in both eyes and the astigmatism is so minor its not even being corrected. Any help would be nice because I want to be a Marine pilot and I know i need damn near perfect vision and I would like to do what Tiger Woods did and get 20/15 that would be great.
There is good things about lasick but you can actually lose you vision or feal a sharp pain from time to time. The most common problem is having dry eyes which you need to put drops into every hour or so.
I’ve heard it’s best to get Lasik at age 21, but then you have to have it redone at age 40 because your eyes gradually get worse with age.
I’ve looked into the surgery but the thought of getting my cornea cut and having a flap of it turned back sickens me too much. Contacts for me!
whether or not Lasik would work for you depends on what is causing your poor vision…you have to be examined to determine your eligibility for the procedure.
I have heard many positive things about lasic surgery. I have never ever heard anything bad. Go for it.
