I just recently recieved my first and second trial pairs of contacts. I have astigmatism and I was wondering what brand you all would recommend and why you recommend them.
Thanks.

I also have and astigmatism and the eye doctor said mine is mild and I can use a regular contact. I use Acuvue lenses. I love them and depending where you get them they are very affordable (i get mine thru 1800contacts). They also have a lens for astigmatism called Acuvue Toric. They are a bit more pricey, but I think they would be worth it. Mine is getting worse so I may have to go to Toric lenses. Hope not but if I do thats okay!! Good luck and enjoy your contacts (alot better than glasses) !!

Whatever you do, don’t get RENU… they rip easier than most contacts do and the thickness wears off

What problems are you experiencing with your contacts?
I wear Proclear torics and I love hem. My eyes are very dry and they help out a lot. They are very comfortable and I wouldn’t switch back to my old brand. I cant sleep in them, but that wasn’t what i was looking for.
Ive heard acuvue advance is good..and one of my friends wears fresh look torics. It really depends on the patient as all people are different.
At cooperivisions website they have a little quiz you can take and they will pick out one of their lenses that would suit what you are looking for. In the source section I also put this handy article my sister found helpful when picking out contacts.
Have you talked to you doctor about brand you were interested, and if you were having any problems? They have probably seen a lot of patients and know different types of lenses they could fit you with. Not every ones eyes are the same and they react different to certain brands than others. I would see how the first 2 brands work out for you and if you still are not satisfied sit down with your doctor and let them know what your having problems and what not. Honestly, I had to go back to the Doctor 3 times before I got the right pair. Don’t be discouraged!
