What Would Happen If I Didn’t Correct My Astigmatism All The Way?

Hypothetically speaking what happens if I get Ortho K contact lens, but since my astigmatism is 2.75 and ortho k only corrects to 1.75, what happens if I have 1.0 of astigmatism left? Can I still function in society? Would words just be a bit blurry?

    You could get by, but things will be more blurry than otherwise. There would be no other adverse effects.
