What’s Wrong With My Eyes, Or What’s Wrong With Me And Contacts.?

I currently am using acuvue advance for astigmatism. My eyes get so dry, I am also trying other trail lenses to see if there’s anything different that may not make my eyes so dry. Today, I noticed little tiny dots all over the lens. Is this making my eyes irritated and dry, or are my dry eyes causing the (what look like) deposits.

How long have you had contacts? When I first got mine it was over a month before my eyes stopped being dry.
And the little dots are probably just deposits they just need to be cleaned
the deposits are protein build up. u need to use a contact solution that eliminates protein build up.
We have had not much success with the AV advance for astig.
Another couple of options are proclear toric and biomedics toric for dryness. And also what type of solution are you using?
If you need a stronger solution to help with the protein deposits – try clear care. Hope this helps!!
I had major issues with acuvue advance but for regular eyes. My eyes were constantly irritated and I developed an ulcerated cornea. I don’t know how many options you have for astigmatism but i recommend to stop using them
I would advise to go see your eye care provider for a consult. However here is some information on different eye problems/issues. http://www.contactlensking.com/eyehealth…
Also here is some pointers on proper maintenance of contact lenses in order to prevent any issues with the eyes from occuring.
1. Probably the single most important task to do before handling contact lenses is to properly wash and rinse your hands. Hands are used to handle many different objects through out the course of a day; therefore they are incredibly susceptible to debris and germs. If your hands have debris or germs they could contaminate your lenses or worse yet your eyes. It is important to also rinse your hands after washing them in order to avoid any soap residue from rubbing off on to your contact lenses.
2. It is important to use the appropriate solution when rinsing your contact lenses. Follow the instructions carefully while cleaning and rinsing your lenses, some solutions require different steps.
3. When you are done using your contact lenses it is important to make sure that your contact lens case/container is free of any debris. Fill the case with the recommended disinfectant solution in order to kill any microorganisms that could be on your lenses. By following this last step you could avoid any risk of eye infection.
