Which Is Better? Acuvue With Hydraclear For Astigmatism Or Freshlook Toric For Astigmatism?

My eye doctor said that acuvue isn’t that great but I hear great things about it [the ones for astigmatism with hydraclear]. Right now I am wearing the freshlook toric , which vision wise are great wouldn’t change a thing with that…it’s just they uncomfortable.
Have any of you tried the acuvue for astigmatism?? Or have any of you tried both, I would love your opinions and comparisons =]
Acuvue are comfortable, but have that terrible classic soft contact soft optics–not the best vision.
I have been thrilled with the optics of the Purevision torics, incredible optics for a soft contact (approaching RGP quality, honestly). But they are a thicker silicone hydrogel material and not the most comfortable toric around. I got used to them very quickly however, and wear them for 16+ hours a day with no real drying problems, and just adore the optics–I love being able to read billboards a quarter of a mile away!. But I realize some may find them not as comfortable as some of the thinner torics out there.
But for me, I wear contacts for the best vision possible, and as long as they are not downright uncomfortable, I’m a happy camper….
Generally, the Acuvue Advance with Astigmatism is more comfortable and more healthy for your eye than compared to the Fresh Look Toric. The toric Acuvue is a silicone hydrogel which transmits more oxygen to your cornea than the Fresh Look counterpart. The only advantage to the Fresh Look toric is that it can change your eye color.
I would never use chemicals to try to correct a refraction problem that can be easily be corrected by wearing glasses!
