Why Do I See A Beam Of Light When Looking At Lights?

At night when im out i can see like beams of light coming off streets lights and normal inside lights to. I can also see it coming off the telly sometimes too. Is this normal or should i be worried?
also theres nothing wrong with my eyes as i know of, yes i do have and astigmatism and i wear contacts and glasses and notice the beam when im wearing either.

    Yes, it is normal. It all depends on atmospheric conditions and the type of light. Also it can depend on the natural distortion of the materials we are looking through, plastic or glass.

    You may have a scratch on your eye…….it is normal…..I have scratches on my eye too
