Ok I have bad eyesight and is thinking about Lasik surgery on both eyes.My eye doctor have told me that I have Astigmatism in my left eye,but what I don’t get is that my eyes look different than what is has look before.
Some days they look like they should and some they look to be different. Is this just a illusion or is it because my eyesight is bad?

astigmatism is an irregular shape of the cornea and it can be corrected with lasik it is your eyes playing tricks on you. i know i had the lasik and i had astigmatism good luck! oh and please choose wisely when choosing a dr for lasik there are lots of quacks out there
it’s a genetic thing, that has your eyes changing shapes. Normal eye balls should be round like a ball, that’s why they call it an eye ball. With astigmatism, your eyes are not shape like a like round ball. It’s more of like an oval shape you know?
So while you’re grown up through your kid and teenage years, your eyes continue to grown and change it’s oval shape.
Normal eye ball stays round and grows bigger as well grow, but yours isn’t like that and it’s just a genetics thing that you’re born with.
Your eyes will stop changing shape once you have gone through your teenage years. That’s probably when you should get eye surgery to correct your vision, once everything stops changing.
Don’t worry too much about this, because other people have it worse than having non-perfect vision. Some people can’t see at all. Talk to your eye doctor and see what they say about your situation.
it has alot to do with the way light reflects on stuff, or even what color you’re wearing
