Well, I have an astigmatism and have like 20/80 or something or something around there. so i have been going to my eye doctor and got glasses and am trying on different contact lenses.
QUESTION with my condition, would contact lenses help me play tennis better? cus i tryed playing with them once and i seemed to play worse… is the prescription wrong? or would i start out worse and gradually play better than i was because i have to get used to playing tennis in them? would contacts help?

get used to them. i went through the same thing with soccer/basketball. once u know how to blink and keep them moist when the airs coming through your eyes wou’ll be fine
I went through the same process with tennis, you just need to get used to them. You are better off with contacts because you will not need to worry about them falling off, but they do blur and move around which gets annoying.
Yes, contact lenses would make a difference. You may need several weeks to get used to hitting with them in. Sometimes, contact lenses pop out while you are running or from the jolt of extreme hitting. I would say that people lose their lenses about once a month, on my court.
There are some vision problems that do better with glasses more than contacts. For these people, contact lenses may be better for running around but they will “see” the ball better with glasses. Biofocal wearers are examples of this type of problem.
Last, some people never get a perfect fit with contact lenses because their corneas are not smooth. Contact lenses fit affects vision correction.
yep
You should actually be able to play tennis better after getting rid of the glasses
I am not sure….but Djokovic uses contacts while playing and he is number 3 in the world so they must be ok to use!! I really want to get contacts too…i use glassses and i dont like using them..
no, i wear contacts and they make playing tennis easier. you dont have to worry about your glasses bouncing up and down. its much more comfortable if you can get used to them
